NEUE HEIMAT was a No Wave band from Mannheim, West Germany, active between 1979 and 1981. (There was another band with the same name that formed later and had nothing to do with this No-Wave band) NEUE HEIMAT had about 10-12 gigs in the Mannheim/Frankfurt area. Unfortunately, no images are available. The group split up in 1981, some formed the somewhat better-known post-punk-noise trio CHOR DER GEFANGENEN, which released a cassette and a split LP with the NÜTZLICHE IDIOTEN. Here is a compilation of some very rare audio documents from NEUE HEIMAT, partly recorded live or on cassette in rehearsal rooms. I think it captures the spirit of the times well.
